The Lambert family became owner of land in order to cultivate vines and produce Cognac at l’Hermitage in the Borderies cru after the French Revolution in 1789, when the seigniorial forest was divided among the peasants of the region. Anne-Marie Lambert and Michel Giboin’s wedding in 1950 gathers our 2 current vineyards, Apremont in the Fins Bois cru and l’Hermitage. Nowadays, François Giboin and his 2 sons, Théophile and Pierre-Louis, respectively 6th and 7th generations, follow their ancestors’ tradition, producing high quality Cognacs, sold worldwide.
